We take pride in the history of our hotel. Originally known as the Presque Isle House, the hotel's owners rebuilt it in 1931 to build a more beautiful, comfortable hotel. They opened the building to guests in 1932. Our hotel is now owned and operated by Ignite Presque Isle, a newly formed non-profit who has continued to update the entire first floor and lower level of the hotel including a new restaurant/bar and co-workspace.
