Get ready for New Sweden’s most enchanting weekend of the year! Join us for a vibrant celebration of heritage, music, and nature that’s perfect for the whole family. 🎻🌼
Who:
Hosted by the New Sweden Historical Society for the entire community (and visitors from near and far!).
What:
A 3-day festival immersion into Swedish culture.
✨ Highlights include:
- The Maypole: Watch (and help!) as we adorn the maypole with lilacs, lupines, and daisies.
- Music & Dance: Live fiddlers from the U.S. and Canada, traditional dancing, and flower crowns.
- Food: Swedish baked goods, full smorgasbords, and communal dinners at Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church.
- Heritage: Explore Swedish artifacts and historic building tours at the Museum.
- Family Fun: Raffles, local artisans, games, and more!
