Have you been thinking about starting a child care business but aren’t sure how to find a location?

Do you want to learn more about the business details of running a child care, or wonder how to make sure it is profitable?

Register for the free Child Care Business Lab training program, offered by Brunswick-based CEI! This program integrates small business start-up education with hands-on child care management and coaching through the licensing and fire marshal process.

The fall calendar runs from October through December, kicking off with an overview of licensing basics and wrapping up with how to cover startup costs. Knowledgeable experts will join with a range of tools to share. Everyone who joins will learn how to:

• Create a strong foundation for their business
• Write official policies
• Create a comprehensive business plan
• Apply for loans and financing

This program is open to all Mainers interested in opening a child care facility either in their home or in an outside commercial space.
